9. Nantwich Museum
Pillory Street, Nantwich. An attractive museum of local history which provides an exciting insight into the life and times of this historic market town. Special displays include Roman and Mediaeval treasures, the Civil War in Nantwich, Shoe and Clothing Industries and the Cheshire Cheese Room. Open Monday to Saturday 10.30am - 4.30pm from April - end September and Tuesday to Saturday October - March. Free admission.

15. The Railway Age (formerly Heritage Centre)
Vernon Way, Crewe. Locomotives, Signal Boxes, Outdoor and Indoor Play Areas and Exhibitions. Open Daily 10am - 4pm February to end of October. Admission charge.
