One mile west of Nantwich on the A534 Nantwich - Wrexham Road at Acton. Jacobean Country House built in 1616. Family home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Roundell. Beautiful plaster ceilings and oak paneling. Attractive woodland gardens and recently replanted herbaceous borders. Guided tours of the house. Open April to end of October, Tuesdays and B/H Mondays 2.00pm - 5.00pm. Admission charge. Disabled facilities.

10. Parish Church of St Mary, Nantwich
The "cathedral" of South Cheshire - one of the finest Mediaeval town churches in Britain. Built in the 14th century of local red sandstone.Open Daily 9.00am - 5.00pm. No admission charge but a donation to the church restoration fund will be appreciated.
