Location and Communication

Crewe and Nantwich is strategically placed on local, regional, national and international communications grids.

Road
Junction 16 of the M6 is within a few minutes` driving time from both Crewe and Nantwich.  The A51 gives a direct link to Chester and North Wales, and the A500 links to Stoke on Trent and the West Midlands.  Manchester and the industrial North West, also Birmingham and the Midlands, are within one hour's driving time of Crewe.

Road & rail links to Crewe

Rail
Crewe Railway Station is at the hub of the British railway system and will be familiar to many rail travelers.  By rail from Crewe Station, Central London is less than 2 hours, Manchester International Airport is 26 minutes, Liverpool Lime Street is 40 minutes and Birmingham New Street is 53 minutes.

Air
Manchester International Airport is 35 minutes` drive from Crewe or can be reached by direct rail link.  Birmingham International Airport is 60 minutes` drive or by direct rail link to National Exhibition Centre and Airport.  Liverpool Airport is 50 minutes` drive.

Sea
Passenger and freight services are available at Liverpool Freeport, freight services at the ports of Ellesmere Port and Runcorn.
