| Nantwich is a medieval town steeped in history and as a business centre has a lot to offer, with over 250 shops and businesses to chose from. Nantwich is a mecca for buyers of antiques and has a multitude of craft shops, delicatessens and high class clothes shops. Antiques fairs are held regularly at the Civic Hall. Historically Nantwich was dominated by three main trades, salt making, boot and shoes and the clothing and garment industry. Today there is still an active clothing and garment industry but much
of the industry in and around Nantwich is directed towards Agriculture,
